Company development
Trackers Tree Surgery was established in 2006 by Mark and Louisa.  Mark has worked in the industry for over 5 years and gained valuable knowledge before deciding he wanted to work for himself.  So joining forces Mark and Louisa set up Trackers Tree Surgery, working hard to achieve their goals and build a customer base.  The company is growing steadily and gaining recognition, most of the work is local to the South East Suffolk area but there have been jobs further afield including one in Ireland and another in Spain.  Louisa is now studying arboriculture and hopes to be qualified to provide tree surveys and give professional advice to customers regarding their trees.

Originally located in Waldringfield we have now moved to Bucklesham where we have bigger premises and are better located for the A12 and A14.  The distinctive green truck pictured on the home page was bought in 2007 and is a regular sight on Suffolks roads.

With a close-knit team of hard working, enthusiastic and friendly workers, Trackers Tree Surgery and Fencing has a professional team, qualified to NPTC level in using chainsaws, climbing and felling trees and aerial rescue.  Trackers Tree Surgery and Fencing has a wide network of clients, located in the local area and a couple further a field, including Holmes Plant and Construction Ltd, Eastern Tree Care, Gobbitt and Kirby Property Services Ltd and many private customers.
Interview with Mark
What do you like best about your job?
"The satisfaction of doing a good job, the excitement and thrill of working at heights."

Why did you decide to work for yourself?
"Every job brings its own challenges some easy, some difficult, some dangerous, it is good to get through these situations and know you achieved it yourself."

What is your favourite tree and why?
"London Plane because of the colours and markings of the bark and they usually have plenty of lower branches which makes them easy to climb."

What is your least favourite tree and why?
"Leylandii!  They are difficult to chip up, awkward to dispose of and horrible to climb as they are full of gnats and other insects that bite."

What is your favourite job to date?
"A Holm Oak (Quercus ilex) we reduced in Ipswich.  Mainly due to the size of the tree, approximately 30 metres and the challenge it presented.  The conditions were difficult due to the outbuildings under the tree including dog kennels and a greenhouse and it was quite windy especially at the height we were working.  However we achieved a good shape to the tree and it looked like a giant sculpture when finished."
Customer testimonials
"We were very impressed by the approach, attitude and finished product.  Also the care and regard for customer property.  We will certainly be calling again and urging others to do so".
Mr and Mrs D, Ipswich

"Very pleased with the work undertaken, will definately use you again".
Mr N, Felixstowe

"A very good team, polite and energetic and nothing too much trouble.  A cheerful bunch".
Mrs A, Ipswich

"It's really reassuring to be kept informed of delays etc.  No one likes not knowing if or when the job is going to be done!!  Good job, good communication"
Mrs R, Woodbridge
